Lin Kuei-Hua’s artistic practice is closely intertwined with her personal life experiences. She draws inspiration from family memories, everyday life, and scenes encountered along her journeys, observing the world with a sensitive yet detached perspective. Through techniques such as flattened figures, negative space, layered imagery, scraping, and dripping, her work has gradually evolved into an exploration of the human figure, color, composition, and the very nature of painting. As she moves through different stages of life, she has become increasingly attentive to subtle moments in the everyday, using painting to revisit and reorganize memories, emotions, and interpersonal relationships, creating distinctive scenes that mark each step along her own artistic journey.
