Kuei-Hua Lin’s inspiration in creation comes from the surrounding. When portrait painting come out of the box, its narrative is no long limited to personality and backgrounds of the characters, but also the connection in life and relationship between the painted character and the creator herself. Through the presentation of a sole person, the dialogue between the artist and her works are interactive in a private and realistic way, bringing the audience a deep and warm experience.
